Rocky Point Rides is your door to door shuttle service between Tucson, Arizona and Rocky Point/Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
You will be riding in our comfortable 14 passenger van, where you will not have to worry about anything other than relaxing and enjoying the scenery while we do the driving.
Rocky Point has been our home away from home for the past 19 years and we both are bilingual, you can feel confident that you will have a safe and enjoyable trip.
Rocky Point/Whale Hill
During the 3.5 to 4 hours drive, we will ride thru one of the most beautiful Sonoran desert country side along state route 86, mainly in the Tohono O'Odham Nation.
You will be able to to enjoy all the flora and the fauna of the desert, from the tall Saguaro cacti and colorful desert spring blooms to the roadrunner crossing the road and the coyote chasing it, or the sometimes slow desert turtle.

There are no set departure times or dates, these are flexible so that you can plan the perfect trip, there are a couple of things that must be taken in consideration when arranging your trip:
- The border closes between 12 midnight and 6 am. No exceptions
- There are open ranges and cattle does walk into the road, making night travelling a little extra dangerous.
- Check-in times range from 4 to 6 pm and Check-out times range from 10 to 12 noon, please check with your particular hotel, resort or rental.

We offer door to door service, we'll pick you up at your home, hotel, or airport and take you to the place you are staying in Rocky Point or Mayan Palace (20 miles out of town at no extra charge).
Once in Rocky Point you will be able to enjoy the many restaurants and bars from your casual to the classy and while in the beach you can take a ride in the famous "banana boat" do some kayaking, snorkeling or para-sailing.
Visit the famous Pinacate Reserve area, where the USA astronauts got prepared before their first moon landing or take one of the many Ecotours CEDO (Intercultural Center for the study of Deserts and Oceans) has to offer.
Or just relax on the beach playing your favorite games on the sun and when the tide is down you can go exploring in the tide pools and get familiar with the different life the Sea of Cortez has.
As of June 1st, 2009 it is required to have a passport to re-enter the United States, please make sure you have yours prior to making reservations, another alternative to the passport is the traveling ID card for half the price that allows land travel only, follow the link for available locations for passport applications:
